Important information for your first session at Diamonds Recording
In order to plan our appointments fairly and reliably, we request a deposit of one hour (€80) when booking.
This deposit will be credited as normal at your appointment.
Cancellation policy:
If an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, or if you simply do not show up, the deposit will be retained.If we have already done preliminary work, such as preparing projects or similar, part of the deposit may be retained if you cancel within 24 hours.
In case of emergencies, an appointment can of course be rescheduled by prior arrangement.
This way we can ensure that we use our studio time fairly and that no cancellations occur.Fairness from our side:
Should we ever have to cancel the appointment at short notice (which almost never happens), you will of course receive your deposit back in full if we cannot agree on a new date.
Why we do it this way:
Unfortunately, in the past it has often happened that appointments were not cancelled at all or were cancelled at very short notice.
Then it is hardly possible to reallocate the studio time – this regulation helps us to plan reliably and to be fair to all artists.
Mixing & Mastering – Korrekturen und Fristen
Bei jedem Mixing- & Mastering-Auftrag sind zwei Korrekturrunden im Preis enthalten.
Weitere Änderungen sind möglich, werden aber mit 30 € pro zusätzlicher Korrekturrunde berechnet.
Bitte beachte:
Feedback und Änderungswünsche sollten innerhalb von 7 Werktagen nach Lieferung des Mixes/Masters erfolgen.
Änderungsanfragen, die erst viele Wochen oder Monate später kommen, können wir leider nicht mehr berücksichtigen, da sie den Workflow und die Planung stark behindern würden.
Änderungen während und nach der Produktion
Während einer Session oder Produktion treffen wir gemeinsam kreative Entscheidungen.
Wenn ein Künstler / Auftraggeber während der Aufnahme oder Produktion bestätigt, dass alles so passt und die Arbeit entsprechend fortgeführt wird, gilt dieser Stand als freigegeben.
Bitte habe Verständnis dafür, dass es in solchen Fällen nicht immer möglich ist, bereits umgesetzte Entscheidungen im Nachhinein vollständig rückgängig zu machen oder ohne zusätzlichen Aufwand zu ändern.
Wichtig zu wissen:

Neue Ideen oder Änderungswünsche, die erst nachträglich oder während der laufenden Produktion entstehen, können den ursprünglichen Arbeitsaufwand deutlich erhöhen.

Wenn sich der Umfang oder die Komplexität eines Projekts im Vergleich zur ursprünglichen Absprache wesentlich verändert, können zusätzliche Kosten entstehen.

Solche Anpassungen werden immer transparent und fair kommuniziert, bevor weitere Arbeitsschritte erfolgen.
Unser Ziel ist es, gemeinsam das bestmögliche Ergebnis zu erreichen –
gleichzeitig bitten wir um Verständnis, dass zusätzlicher Arbeitsaufwand auch entsprechend berücksichtigt werden muss.
Recording – Aufnahmen & Datenspeicherung
Nach einer Recording-Session erhältst du alle deine Aufnahmen als Datei(en).
Wir speichern Projekte nur für 14 Tage nach dem Termin, danach werden sie von unserem Studio-PC gelöscht, um Ordnung zu halten und Ressourcen frei zu machen.
Bitte sichere deine Dateien daher direkt nach Erhalt selbst ab.

What is included in the recording package – and what is considered an additional service?
A booked recording session includes:
the recording time in the studio
technical support during the session
Level adjustment & easy track organization
an exported rough mix for private use
The project file can be provided upon request for your own archiving.
Once the session is over and the discussed raw version and, if applicable, the project file have been handed over, the recording order is considered complete.
Subsequent changes
Changes requested after the session has ended – such as:
replace individual tracks
Adjust volume
Move or rearrange tracks
Export new versions
Create alternative rough mixes
These are generally considered additional work and can be billed separately depending on the time required.
It is often underestimated that even "small changes" take time –
Open the project, make adjustments, check, re-export, and save correctly.
Managing multiple projects in parallel means additional organizational effort.
Of course, sensible adjustments are possible –
However, they are calculated fairly according to the actual time spent.
FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
How many corrections are included in the mixing and mastering process?
The price includes two rounds of revisions. Each additional revision costs €30.
By when do I need to submit change requests?
Please give us your feedback within 7 working days of receiving the mix or master. We cannot consider any changes made after this time.
How long do you keep my recordings?
We save the projects for 14 days after the recording date. After that, they are deleted to keep things organized and free up storage space.
Will I receive all my recorded files?
Yes, you will receive all recordings after each session. Please save them yourself promptly, as we will no longer retain them after 14 days.
What happens if I need more studio time or additional editing?
Additional recording or processing time will be charged according to the current hourly rate.
How are delays handled?
Minor delays are of course not the end of the world. We know that not everything in everyday life can be planned.
Please understand, however, that booked studio time is generally calculated from the agreed start date.
The studio, equipment, and appointment are already prepared and reserved for you at this time.
Specifically, this means:
For example, if you arrive 5-10 minutes late, the booking will still remain valid for a full hour (60 minutes).
The session then lasts 50–55 minutes.If the delay is 15 minutes or more, the time will also be calculated from the originally agreed time.
A later arrival will not result in a price reduction, as the appointment is completely blocked for you.
We treat each other fairly and in a relaxed manner – delays can happen.
At the same time, we ask for your understanding that the booked time must be adhered to so that all sessions can run smoothly.
Our tip:
If it looks like you're going to be late, please let us know briefly – that way we can react in the best possible way.
Free initial consultation & on-site consultation
The initial telephone consultation at Diamonds Recording is generally free of charge and serves as an initial assessment of your project.
Should you require a personal consultation on site, or if a telephone conversation is insufficient, we offer individual consultations in the studio.
On-site consultations are charged at €50 per hour and are only available by prior appointment.
Booking an on-site consultation appointment constitutes a binding reservation of the corresponding consultation service.
